Roll-Off Software Index

Independent index of dumpster rental and roll-off hauler software. One product, one page.

PJR Software

For: US roll-off and dumpster rental operators who want dispatch, inventory, and invoicing in one stack and already sit next to portable sanitation or septic work, or who are fine buying a product whose marketing still leads with porta-johns. Not the first pick if the only need is a customer-facing dumpster booking website (Reservety-style) or a dumpster-only product founded by haulers (DSQ Hauler).

What it is

Cloud operations software sold as PJR Online (PJR Software, Peoria, AZ). The dedicated roll-off page is about dumpster availability in real time, location tagging and photo uploads, drag-and-drop plus routing-based scheduling, AI-assisted inventory and routing, and auto-invoicing after a job, plus recurring or batch billing. The rest of pjrsoftware.com is still portable-restroom first (porta-john scheduling, assets, and billing). Homepage FAQ (checked 2026-09-01) says month-to-month licenses, no contract, and a 14-day trial; they do not publish a dumpster-specific list price on that roll-off page. Vendor copy on the same page claims a 22% faster turnaround and billing errors under 1%; those are marketing figures, not independently checked invoices.

Who it is for

US roll-off and dumpster rental operators who want dispatch, inventory, and invoicing in one stack and already sit next to portable sanitation or septic work, or who are fine buying a product whose marketing still leads with porta-johns. Not the first pick if the only need is a customer-facing dumpster booking website (Reservety-style) or a dumpster-only product founded by haulers (DSQ Hauler).

Alternatives

  • Reservety (customer booking site, not a hauler ERP)
  • DSQ Hauler (roll-off dispatch and inventory; founded-by-haulers positioning)
  • Docket / Docket Waste Software
  • Dumpster Rental Systems (DRS)
  • ServiceCore
  • CurbWaste
  • Bin Boss
  • TrashLab

Pros

  • Official roll-off page is operational, not just a calendar: live dumpster availability, GPS/photo on containers, driver routing, recurring billing, and auto-invoice after service.
  • Same vendor also sells portable restroom and septic modules, which matters if the fleet already mixes those jobs.
  • Public month-to-month, no-contract language on the homepage FAQ, plus QuickBooks Online and a driver mobile app on the main product pages.
  • Public affiliate program exists (affiliates page names roll-off dumpster rental companies as an audience). This index does not attach a tracking link until Juan approves. Pay copy on that page is inconsistent ($150/sale vs recurring for the life of the account) so we do not quote a commission here.

Cons

  • Homepage, title tags, and most feature copy are portable-restroom software. Dumpster is a module, not the brand.
  • No public dumpster list price on the roll-off page, so you still need a sales call to compare dollars against Reservety's $59 start or DSQ's $99/month unlimited-drivers line.
  • No useful third-party review set (Capterra/G2/Reddit operator threads) found in this pass; treat the 22% / <1% error claims as vendor-hosted.
  • Affiliate FAQ and the $150 headline contradict each other on whether pay is one-shot or residual; directory listings should not promise a number until PJR confirms.
